CT6743 - Can't stop the leaking at the base of your filler tube? This is usually caused by a tiny pin hole or crack near the base of the tube. Our repair end and rubber boot kit is designed to solve the problem and end the leaking for good. Just cut off the end of your fill tube, attach the metal repair piece, then slide on the rubber boot. This kit will also allow you to convert your older oring type filler tube to a newer and better rubber boot seal.

1973 Camaro th400 with a transmission leak that lasted 20 years. I knew it was coming from dipstick tube. Replaced o rings on stock tranny tube several times. Always ended up leaking after time. Stock tube was fine, except for leak. Replaced with upgrade tube seal, followed instructions. Cut off end and installed replacment. No leaks with stock tube.
